You must have had great patience to get this shot. Kingfisher like many birds are very fickle and don’t hang around. It’s in quite an awkward position slightly twisted causing a shadow to be cast over his face. The front wing is slightly soft and the background is thrown out of focus to the exact degree I like still showing impression of the grasses on the river bank. Sue Sibley
