I really wanted to see this image score well as it has all the making of a great capture. With the smoke trails creating leading lines from the bottom of the frame bring you up up and away with the pilots.
However when the image passed through my hands I could see that there where areas between the plane and propeller on the left and an area between the two centre plans that did not match in with the sky in the image. This two areas look out of place and so much brighter than the surrounding sky.
This can be easily corrected in post processing with a cloning brush. - Matthew
