A very close study of a pheasant’s eye and facial feathers. It certainly shows off the colours and feather details well in an Abstract style. I’m not sure it works for me I find I want to see more of the face. A very piercing eye. Sue Sibley

I found the colours, detail and fine highlights in the feather really made this image stand out. The eye has been carefully placed on the upper right hand third and immediately catches the viewers attention.
The contour of the feathers as they sweep from the right guides the eye around the image and back into the detail of the eye socket. Nature truly is beautiful. - Matthew
