Not sure I would like to use the visitors berth at the moment with the big waves coming in. It’s a rogue wave there as the rest of the sea looks quiet calm in comparison. Good stormy sky but most of the interest is on the right hand side. Sue Sibley
I love the composition of the lighthouse on the right-hand third. This image has three main subjects: the Storm clouds, the sea and the dominant lighthouse. You can see nature at work here and the height of the wave as it rises above the lamp post. The foreboding storm filled clouds rolling in add to the atmosphere that this image has captured. The left hand side of the image is held in with the whites of the rolling wave and sea spray and leads the eye back to the lighthouse and crashing wave, the focal point of this image. This image really soaks up those mono tones from whites through to those dark greys. - Matthew
