MONO - Rope Girl by Charlie McAuley (8 marks)

The composition of the model with the outstretched arms allows the viewer to travel from the top of the image to the bottom tracing the flow of the rope.
The accent light on right of the model gives her separation fro the backdrop. I found the lack of lighting on the lower face a distraction as a dark shadow from the arm cuts across the chin and into the hair.
An additional light source may have reduced this shadow and brought more light into the models face and eyes. - Matthew
