PDI - Heavenly rays by J Devine (7 marks)
Strabane & District Camera Club
Being in the right place at the right time is what this image is all about. You have the break in the cloud and the light shafts coming down over the headland and shoreline.
For me the image is all about those heavenly rays and therefore I would have reduced the foreground by cropping this into a panoramic format removing about 1.5 inches from the bottom of the image. Leaving just the ’S’ curves of those water runs in the sand. I feel the image may just have been over processed with a little to much contrast added.
I would like to see a little more detail in the clouds at the top of the frame as I believe this image has so much potential. - Matthew
