Oh what a cutie! Totally oblivious to you, life’s such a grind at the moment, sleeping on the job! Lovely soft background and he has been perfectly place. Another picture a parent would be over the moon with. Sue Sibley
The soft lighting looks very natural on the baby’s features. Captured with a shallow depth of field the baby’s face is tack sharp with the small finger nails and skin in the hands. You can almost smell that new baby smell in the baby’s hair.
The composition captured at the same level as the baby allows the viewer to feel they are there in front of the baby also. The baby’s head resting on its small hands sound asleep evokes a dreaminess that has been captured with that depth of field and fall of into softness. - Matthew
